tigby start
Sign this machine in and create your first Identity
The guided first run, on an empty machine. It checks the profile's key against whoami and signs in with the device flow when there is nothing that carries; then it asks for a Handle and checks each answer live against GET /api/handles/{handle}, so you learn whether a name is free before spending a create on it; then it runs the create for the Handle you settled on, with its saga progress and its show-once hand-over of the Identity Key and the Mailbox password. Nothing here is new behaviour: it is tigby login and tigby identity create, in that order, around one prompt. This is the one command that does not take --json – its input is a Handle you type – and the one that needs a terminal; both refusals name the two commands to run instead.
